And she is, The only think wrong with her is that shes perfect

I grew up with Barbie. She was my role model. I remember even as a child being asked what I was going to be when I grew up...I said Barbie. And now if you asked me if I could be anyone in the world, I would say Barbie. I mean why not? She's perfect right? This is pretty interesting, currently, if blown up to human proportions, Barbie's measurements would be 38-18-34.  Here are other facts I found interesting:

Mattel has recently announced that Barbie will be undergoing plastic surgery to make her look more "realistic." In 1998, out of the 24 new Barbies being unveiled, only one will have the new body. The new measurements? 34-22-33. Realistically unrealistic.

The 1959 original Barbie doll sold for $3.00. Today, in mint condition, it can get up to $5000.

Barbie has over a billion pairs of shoes.

Barbie is sold in 140 countries at a rate of two dolls every second.

Throughout Barbie's life, over 105 million yards of fabric have been used to make her clothing. This makes Mattel one of the largest apparel manufacturers in the world.

The typical American girl, aged 3-11, owns eight Barbies.

Placed head to toe, Barbie and her family members sold since 1959 would circle the earth more than seven times.

Barbie accounted for $1.4 billion in sales for Mattel in 1995.

So yea I guess Barbie is pretty popular. I do feel sorry for her, poor barbie is always being blamed for girls body image problems and eating disorders. I don't blame her I just idolize her and even though part of me knows that I can never be her and she's not real, I don't give up trying. I mean if you're going to have a role model she mine as well be perfect right? But it is stupid to want to be fake. Because that is what Barbie is. And their are alot of girls I know who are very much like Barbie is the sense they are very fake. I guess I'm pretty fake too, I dye my hair, tan everyday, a clothes whore, and I'm bulimic (don't really need to explain that. Oh and yea I'm saving up for hair extensions. I'm also getting crest white strips. Even my laugh and smile is fake. So for the most part...you could call me fake. I guess I'm becoming my role model...
Screw you Barbie!!!

I hope this doesn't offend you. I am a christian and this is not meant to be sac-religious. But I think it shows how Barbie is seen by alot of people. I do worship Barbie. No, I don't pray to her or anything like that. But everything I put myself through to be her, and the pedistool I put her on, This picture pretty much shows that.

Its stupid, its wrong, its pathetic!! So why? I dont know...
